PedResp Group golf clinic

On 11 June, the Paediatric Respiratory Infection & Immunity Group traded the lab and hospital for the golf course for an afternoon. Together with our South African co-PIs, we headed to Golf Course Landgoed Bleijenbeek for a group golf clinic.

The afternoon provided plenty of opportunity to discover that golf is considerably harder than it looks, and that scientific skills do not necessarily translate into golfing talent. Fortunately, enthusiasm and competitive spirit were in plentiful supply!

After the clinic, we finished the day with drinks and dinner together. A very enjoyable afternoon and a great opportunity to spend time together outside our usual research setting, particularly with our South African colleagues visiting Nijmegen. Thanks to everyone who joined and made it such a fun day!
