About PEER-S
PEER-S is a substudy of the larger PEER project, which aims to explore the effects of air pollution on infant and maternal health. Led by a collaborative team from the University of Indonesia – Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital and supported by the Radboud UMC, PEER-S focuses on understanding how exposure to air pollution impacts the respiratory health of children.
By collecting and analyzing saliva samples from these children, the PEER-S team aims to assess potential biomarkers of exposure to air pollutants and investigate any associated health effects.
