Lilly Verhagen joins The Young Academy

Our group leader, Lilly Verhagen, has been appointed as a new member of The Young Academy, part of the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).

Alongside nine other talented researchers, Lilly will spend the next five years contributing to the future of science through interdisciplinary collaboration, science communication, and advocacy for early-career researchers.

Due to her ongoing commitments in South Africa, Lilly was unable to attend the official inauguration of new members at the Trippenhuis in Amsterdam. Instead, she shared her vision and ambitions for the coming years in a specially recorded video, which you can watch here:
