Visit from our South African colleagues
In June and July, we were delighted to welcome three colleagues from Stellenbosch University to the Radboudumc in Nijmegen: Prof. Marieke van der Zalm (co-PI), Prof. Helena Rabie (paediatric infectious diseases specialist and collaborator), and Mish-Al Barday (PhD candidate).
Their visit provided an excellent opportunity for scientific discussions, research presentations, and brainstorming sessions on our ongoing collaborations. We also took the time to develop new ideas and explore future research plans together.
Alongside the productive meetings, there was, of course, also time to catch up over dinner and strengthen the friendships that underpin our long-standing collaboration.
